Lectures and conferences are a highlight of the academic calendar. I have photographed many conferences and I love capturing the dynamism of the speakers. Presenting your research to the world involves giving a performance, and my aim is to capture the moment on stage.

DOCUMENTARY
I spent a decade at the BBC making documentary films and taking photographs about extraordinary people, places and events. Telling stories through sets of photos can bring subjects to life.
